GROUPS Groups are the coming together of like minded characters in the same faction. Depending on the faction a Group can be a Crew, a Battalion, a Unit, so on so forth, despite varying names they operate the same. Groups must be founded ICly by at least 3 characters, at least 2 of which must be PCs. Upon approval a Group is given its own forum, so they can manage themselves.
LEVELS Groups can be anywhere from Level 1 to Level 10. Levels regulate the progression of benefits and the mechanics of Groups. The total amount of Prestige from all its members, the Feats the Group has under their belts, and the number of PCs that are apart of the Group, influence the Group's Level. NPC headed Groups are a special case.
GROUP TRAITS Traits that effect every member of a Group. A Group can have up to 3 Group Traits. Since they effect an entire Group, the cost of these Traits are large.
DIVISIONS Divisions are segments of the whole Group that are composed of PCs, GNPCs and Permanent Grunts. They are lead by PC or GNPC members who are recognized as commanders or something similar. These splinters Group sometimes exist as specialized branches for tasks like espionage, doctoring, or sharpshooting, but Divisions can just exist for the sake of more organized commanding when Groups grow to extreme numbers. There will always be a Main Division (Whitebeard's own unit) and all others will be referred to simply as Divisions (Ace's unit or Jozu's unit), but this distinction only exist once the first Division is created, technically resulting in 2 Divisions being created.
DIVISION TRAITS Like Group Traits, Divisions also can have their own Traits that can be nourished by members of that Division. The Main Division can have up to 3 Division Traits, while Sub Divisions can have 2 Division Traits.
DORIKI SCHEMES Within a Division, the Division Leader can set what is called a single Doriki Scheme for Permanent Grunts belonging to the Division. With 17,500 Doriki at a Grunt's disposal, this allows them to be more tailored to the Division's specialty if there is one. NPCS
PERMISSIONS Permissions represent how many players can assume control of an NPC to pilot it in topics. GNPCs have multiple Permission slots and this amount of slots is dictated by the Group's Level. Each month the Permission slots are wiped and a new roster of Group members can sign up for the slots, this is moderated by members of that Group with appropriate authorities delegated by their leader.
NPC LEDGER Every Group has an NPC Ledger.This tracks the profiles and numbers of all their GNPCs and Permanent Grunts. Furthermore, the ledger also records their Division assignments if they have one. This ledger is where Group members sign up for Permissions to GNPCs each month. Every Group must make an NPC Ledger and post it to their Group's forum upon approval and it is the Group's responsibility to maintain and ensure their NPCs are being used in accordance to the site's rules.
PERMANENT GRUNTS Permanent Grunts are a sustained amount of nameless E-Rank NPCs which make up the henchmen, foot soldiers, lackeys, etc of a Group. Unless a Group suffers a major loss and there is a declaration by a moderator, then Permanent Grunts will always replenish themselves.
Cost: 25 Permanent Grunts cost 5 NPC Coins
Consumption: 50 Materials per 25 Grunts a Month.

NPC GROUPS There are some World and Bulletin NPCs which head their own Groups that players can join. This is done through Encounters in Episodes, Arcs, and Campaigns utilizing the Wishlist in a similar way to Recruitment.
In the case you belong to a Faction that is apart of an organization like the Marines or World Government, you can be assigned to an NPC headed Group. Once apart of one of these Groups you have the ability to request Permissions to its GNPCs and can create Episodes, Arcs, or Campaigns with the leader of the Group or the NPC members as the Requestee and/or part of the Cast. Examples of NPC Groups. Baroque Works, Happo Navy, Revolutionary Army, Don Krieg Pirates, etc.
