TECHNOLOGY|CLASS Technology represents the degree of advancement a particular the community, item, etc has achieved when compared to real life modernism. Guns evolve from the flintlock up to assault rifles, kingdoms move on from wind, water, and man-powered mechanisms onto using steam and combustible engines, etc. As a character grows their Crafting-Job Traits from Lvl 1-5, they will naturally gain more and more knowledge on the inner-workings of the mechanisms, laws, and elements that make up their craft. This is growth and progression is reflected in an Item or Turf's Class rating.
The most important factor of determining the level of Technology is the energy source that is used to power it, i.e manpowered, water or wind powered, mechanical, steam, electric, etc. As the ways to use or produce types of energy advance, so does the level of Technology/Class.
CLASS The following section will give examples of the different levels of Technology in both Turfs how societies use technology, and Items.
Common
Turf: Stone-age to Medieval. Simple machines. Wind, water, animals, and men are used to power their mechanisms.
Turf: Renaissance. Cranes and lifting towers for building, blast furnaces for mass smelting, beginning of the domestication of gas, fully mechanized clocks, stone roads.
Turf: 1st Industrial Revolution. Establishing public schools, formation of cities, and normalization of factory work. Steam power, machine and factory making, mass production of goods, heat power from coal, and water power from steam, cement, use of gas for lighting, machine focused drilling for mining. Railroads can link to other Turf with equal or higher Technology within the same Island.
Craft: Buggy Ball, Ground mounted gatling gun, repeater rifles, mortars, bazooka, Rumble Ball, Dance Powder, Coup de Burst, Billower Bike, Pre-Time-skip Franky, Kaido factories on Wano, Automata(basic robots), Billower Bike, Energy Steroids.
Mighty
Turf: 2nd Industrial Revolution. First implementations of electricity with the telegraph and lightbulb. Use of petroleum through use of combustible engines. Railroads advanced to the point of linking to other Turfs with a Technology rating of Great or higher as long as they are within the same Zone/Sea. Metal plated warships and automobiles.
Craft: Fully automatic guns, long range sniping rifles, rocket launchers, SAD, Koro poison, Gaon Cannon, Pacifista, Cyborg Bartholomew Kuma, Time-skip Franky, Cybernetic appendages, Robots as seen on Karakuri Island, General Franky, Slave Collar, Night vision goggles, computers
Supreme
Turf: Modernized. Full electrification. Automated species, computers, electric powered machines and other clean energy usage such as solar.

DISTRIBUTION & CLIMATE As we know, just because one community has access to great Technology doesn’t mean all do, especially in the world of One Piece. Technology beyond Common is still fairly new to the world, people often rely on other things like Dials, Den Den Mushi, or even bubbles as seen on Sabaody.
WORLD GOVERNMENT The World Government is the most technologically advanced body that exist in the world. As the hand of the World Nobles, the World Government doesn’t take it lightly when unaffiliated communities begin to modernize and advance. Per the interest of their benefactors, the World Government use their technological leverage to entice many kingdoms to join then as allies or to crush their enemies. While the Marines are a branch of the World Government, regulations on the level of technology they are outfitted with rarely exceeds Great. Cipher Pol cells sometimes find themselves being lended electrical gadgets for their missions or as testers for new devices. Lastly, the Holy Army who act under direct command of Celestial Dragons are considered to have the most technologically advanced war chest.
NORTH BLUE Mighty is the best an Island in the North Blue has achieved, they are few in number and all World Government affiliates. Majority of islands still are either Common and a few are Skillful.
EAST BLUE Only one island has achieved Great and they are World Government affiliates. The rest comfortably are Common or Skillful.
WEST BLUE Executive Island is the most advanced island in all the Four Blues, and is considered Mighty. Because of the constant stream of economy going into the West Blue, it has a few Skillful Islands as well.
SOUTH BLUE Recognized as the boonies for a reason, majority of islands are Common. A slim few better organized islands are Skillful, but no more than can be counted on one’s hand.
