Name: Iron Sea Majors: Executive Island Sea Difficulty: 4 Components: Arms|Hands|Lips|World Government|Terrorist|Fishmen|Mink|Long-Arm|Winged Description: The Iron Sea is an the most racially diverse span of water in the West and it is ruled by the greed of businessmen and big corporations. It has turned into a corrupt machine that has turned many of its people into slaves for their wages and dreams. As part of the a program known as the Worker's Pledge, all non-humans must report to the World Government Employment Office on Executive Island upon arrival to the West Blue. They go through a process that stamps them with a code that signifies they have World Government protection in the West Blue as long as they live within the bounds of the law. They are also assigned paying work and lodgings for their whole life. For refugees, victims of racism, orphans, etc it sounds like a great deal. Especially when one considers how non-humans in the West Blue are looked down upon due to the Fishman's involvement with the Rain Plague and a dense slave trade that favors non-humans as product. Though some humans are apart of the Worker's Pledge, the non-human population of the West Blue specifically has been "domesticated" for many generations. It has also given Executive Island an unparalleled workforce so large it needs four separate islands to support them.
With such a big portion of the populace employed, the hustle and bustle of the Iron Sea is unmatched both on land and in the water. However, not all of the activity of the Iron Sea involves Executive Island's monopoly. The Five Great Families, a coalition of great mafia bosses, also do their dirt in these waters. They've inspired a lot of rascal gangs below them, meaning they've abandoned the Worker's Pledge, lost their racial immunity, and chose to become Illegals. Big or small, a game of cops and robbers is always going down somewhere in this busy network. Bounties: 71,000,000 | 21,000,000 Encyclopedia: Worker's Pledge | Five Great Families | Greek Mud | Moon Metal | Lore: Once there was a man dared to stand against Executive Island, not with his fist, but with his words and then with his wallet. As part of the Worker's Pledge he toiled for many different corporations that operate out of Executive Island, met many people, and one day in his middle years, made his judgement on the state of things and how to fix them. With his tongue he was able to lasso in many people to listen to his message which was basically him expressing how he wanted to organize the workers to fight to improve their working conditions and even their wages. He even said crazy things like how they could have the power to tear down Executive Island. Not all took to his ideas, but some did and with them he carefully organized a workers strike.
Nothing significant came from their strike and like expected they were jailed, but ridiculously that same night they arrived, the jail went down in flames. There were no survivors and the corpse count roughly added up to the amount of people who should have been present. 317, with 43 of them being the man and his strikers.
Weeks later, 20 of the 43 people who were sent to the prison after striking mysteriously show up at their respective islands not only in perfect health, but also with wealth. They weren't arrested by the authorities because of the way they wielded their fortune and bought the starved and depraved people's support in the form of protection and loyalty. Very quickly they polluted Executive Island's territories with crime and followed the mold of the Five Great Families to become the first real generation of gangster's in these islands. Naturally a person would want to know how exactly they survived and procured this money, but they would never tell. The most the Man would say is that he had sold the people's souls to the Devil, but no one knew what he really meant until later. - More Information on Las Camp, Bella Noche, Dak-Dak, Kanamori, or Marche Island.
