Snapper Town is the only major concentration of the island's inhabitants, while the others have taken to the wildernesses to live their lives in seclusion. This isn't for the sake of being a hermit, but for the sake of the pursuit of knowledge and mastery of their crafts. For this reason you can find cottages dotted all over the lands, even in remote areas like deep in the woods, mountains, and valleys. In the Victorian themed Snapper Town, craftsman converge to show-off and sell their creations or talents. Some even get scouted by businessmen from Executive Island. The World Market booms since the people love making things from the raw with foreign ingredients and there's so much competition. Explorers come here to hire themselves out to craftsmen looking for specific ingredients or aristocrats looking for relics and jewels to flaunt. Since money flows so effortlessly thieves help themselves to people's coffers and even noble status doesn't grant the aristocrats immunity to the crime. This makes it a proving ground for many aspiring thieves and tradesmen.
The nobles are like typical nobles and feel higher than commonfolk, but their money has made them lazy, so they blindly rely on the same commonfolk they look down on for their goods and services. They hold extravagant boisterous parties that can be heard from the lower districts. The king, King Saraus is a man of old age who matches the sense of tranquility the vast nature of Red Fin Island has. Long as there are no huge scandals or raging masses, he and the royal family live a quiet life in their castle in the upper district of Snapper Town.
Back outside of Snapper Town, there are some small hamlets/gatherings of people who live together. The House of Jung is rumored to have a humble spot in deep in the island in on of the hamlets somewhere. There they teach medicine and have a fair sized community of Minkmen who are devoted to them. Due to how the racial climate is in the West Blue, the Minks stay in the Jung territories, it's very rare to see them unless you visit their camp. King Saraus respects the House of Jung and the small Minkman population his island shelters.
There are also a few other squats where like minded people gather, some have schools, some teach religion, but not all of the communities are as light hearted and kind as the others.
