Name: Berum Sea Majors: Ohara, Gammon, Lapys, Pearl of the Sea Sea Difficulty:4 Components: Wisemen, Explorers, Bandits, Holy Army, Revolution, Lips, Pirates, Marines, World Government Description: The Plague Rains stopped the wind from gracing the Berum Sea. Due to the advancements of Ohara, Cigar, and Gammon Island some spots of the waters are salt whilst others are fresh. This strange mixture and warm water call all remaining Sea Kings in the Blue toward Berum. Travel for those of Nobility is simple and accidents do not occur. And experienced Navigators can handle the dead waters. Gammon Island has the majority of the Sea Kings swimming around it, and laying their eggs, and the only Island Nobility does not travel to.
Trade also is its highest within the Berum Sea. Exporting everything Sea King and also strange. As the Plague Rain has caused Sea Kings eggs to not always house miniature them. Parasites at times get into the eggs and eat the contents. Changing into something strange, but delicious. Cigar Island also has been heavily affected by the Plague Rains, the Mary tree commonly found there changed. The fruits dried or swelled with juices. The dried ones are sold as a fruity and more tasteful Cigar. That is popular throughout the Blues. The fruit comes rarely, said to be harvested to extinction. Due to this poor balance the dried Mary trees release toxins into the air. Minks and Humans are not affected, but it dries the skin of Fishman rapidly to the point of dehydration.
Ohara houses the Nobility within the Tree of Knowledge. The Wise Men are viewed on equal standing with their Noble guests, some are even viewed higher. They commonly are hired by Nobility to act as their Advisor. Many from even out of the Blues come but only Nobility, World Government, and Special Guests are allowed around the island. As the fresh water is filled to the brim with Yuda Snakes. These snakes also patrol the vessels that circle the waters. The Holy Army also circles the waters. Not entering without permission has been passed as the fourth new law of the Blue.
Lapys is just due north of Ohara. Unlike the other three it is the largest and surrounded by the other smaller islands within the sea. It serves the only Island one can learn Fishman Karate. It being the location of the Goa Kingdom, where many come to showcase their crafts. Competitions following trends. Chefs at this time make the same amount as many Nobles.
The rest of the Islands have small villages, at a maximum of two. People that typically never leave the Island due to the kingdom, regardless of affiliation, send supplies and foods to the Islands. Branch 67 of the Marines works with the Goa Kingdom to ensure these supply drops are done in a timely manner and without any complications. Control of this Sea was only maintained with peace, that was the idea those in charge had. Deep Ones are the only ones that oppose this.
Bounties: 60,800,000 | 17,060,000 Encyclopedia: Wisemen of Seven | SSG 67 | Dried Cig | Lilith Fruit | Pearl Egg Lore: Davy Jones was said to fight the Admirals on a ship, not some Island. It was the pearl of the world, made with Fishman materials following a Sirref Kingdom design. He did not leave with the Ship as he said it didn’t belong to him. It belonged to the Prince. This is carved into the Captain’s Cabin. This ship holds the highest value in the East. The Deeps Ones at times of their attacks travel on it, carried by a wind. It is able to maneuver better than any vessel created within the Blue. Able to even sink into the depths is surrounded. This Ship is a symbol of Piracy within the East. Due to the materials it is even regarded as its own Island. A foreign power that is not only at war with the Goa Kingdom, but also the World Government.
Many of the Civilians do not care for the Deep Ones anymore. Explorers that came into the Sea have grown to outrageous numbers. As Deep Ones only attack high Nobility and other Fishman. Humans, who make up half the populace of the Sea, are more focused on maintaining their easy lifestyle. And that is through doing their part in the many different forms of trade that prosper in this Sea. Strange fruits, eggs, and sea kings come easy at the expense of the Minks.
Finally, helping maintain a balance are the Marines. Support the study of the SSG 67 to understand why Sea Kings in this Blue are so peculiar. Many know as they are asked to assist in gathering information about the Sea. Despite their search for something specific they are coming up short in getting it.
