Name: Gammon Island Bank: E Warehouse: D Major: No Benefactor: N/A Turf: Ma-Ville Components: Wisemen, Criminals, Sea Kings, and Pearl Eggs Environments: The Skull the Coral covers has not been altered. Size: Medium Inhabited: Yes Description: Davy Jones in his youth slew a massive Sea King, and the only thing to remain was the skull the size of Ohara. Unable to sink fully below, half the skull rests above the water. The bottom of it attracts coral, the reef keeping the entire skull in place. Due to the Plague Rains that same coral grew overnight and enveloped the Skull of the Sea King, causing a reef to emerge above the water. It is beautiful, but strange. Even the Wise Men do not understand how the Island continues to grow. Harvested daily the reef is the toughest structure within the Blue. Due to that Prisoners are dropped there after receiving a collar and working it. Living on it as the Fish do beneath the Water.
Sea Kings a week, randomly, every month travel to the structure and lay their eggs in the reef. They mate violently during this period making only the best navigators available to traverse the waves created. The large eggs must be gathered in this time as Sea Kings will hatch from them, fully grown, in a matter of days of being laid. The smaller, ranging from chicken egg to Dinosaur eggs, hatch randomly or not at all.
Encyclopedia: Lore: The Goa Kingdom and Wise Men believe it is their duty to reform those of their Blue, not the World Government. And due to this all criminals, if not caught by Marines, are sent to this Island. Learning their role in keeping the enter Blue in a state of peace, giving each person that comes a purpose greater than themselves. Some are incharge of breaking up the coral, whilst others risk their lives diving into the waters to gather eggs. Previously, Deep Ones primarily helped in this. Until a Wise Men told them a ‘truth’ about the Island. Due to this Deep Ones frequent just to attack those that inhabit the Island.
Wisemen have advised against building structures onto the Island so there are none. Tents are set up for the groups that travel together, which are lead by Wisemen. Groups ranging from 10 to 100 individuals at a time. Scattered about around the Island, moving constantly. Ships circle the Island and when a Wise Man sends out signal, through a flare, a Ship will come to them. Whatever they have been gathered is shipped out, and at times Prisoners that have fulfilled their duty leave with them. Technology: Common Hazard: Coral reef with a durability of C+. +1 Sea Difficulty when sailing to this island.
