Origin: Whether it be deceiving her enemies or influencing her comrades, the ability to manipulate those around you is a powerful skill on one's climb to the top. Virginia has realised that this is possibly the most useful skills for her future.
Description: This trait gives an advantage to Virginia whenever she attempts to manipulate someone. It can be indirect, non-verbal, ect. As long as she is trying to influence someone in some way. This skill does not replace properly roleplaying scenarios (it is not a jedi mind trick), and needs a foundation for the manipulation such as appealing to reason or emotion, comfort, or your Relation score. Does not work on PC's.

Origin: The North Blue Revolutionary Army trained their best and brightest in the ways of covert operations under Project Spiritstep. The need for keeping secretive against the oppressive marines and counteracting Cipher Pol forces made these spys valuable. This trait describes the proficiency with the first focus of the project's training: teamwork, protocol, and general espionage skill. To use the second and third focuses, the applicable trait+ must be used (Art of Subterfuge & Rokusheishin).

Origin: There are many applications for the art of subterfuge. Muddying the waters between truth and lies is dangerous when world diplomacy is at stake. These skills were first developed under Project Spiritstep and continue to be developed by Virginia herself.
Description: While Espionage Proficiency deals with the work of a spy, a more nuanced trait is required for things that could possibly be counteracted by someone who is perceptive enough. This trait includes things such as concealing your presence, laying a trap, forging paperwork, relaying a secret message, posing as another, disguising one thing as another, ect.
Levels: Virginia's trait level matches against the target's perception doriki. If the target is not suspecting the deception, This trait acts at a level higher. If the target is using observation haki and it makes sense that it would help, this trait acts at a level lower.

Origin: Along with the technical training of Project Spiritstep, came the gruelling combat training. With the idea for the project coming from the necessity to counteract Cipher Pol, the need to deal with their combatants was also there. They learned rokusheishin, which translated into "six spirits", was a variant of the six powers. With this they were learning the blade of the enemy while honing their own.
