The warm ocean air greeted his face as he awoke on the deck of his ship. his vision was slightly hazy at first and then slowly began to clear up oh yes it was another beautiful day. His ship had arrived late last night. It had been The closest island that he was going to visit and possibly resupply at was named Karate Island. A rather unusual name for a piece of land perhaps it had a colorful history to it. He hoped it wasn't, in this case, deserted, he enjoyed the warmth of the sun as he felt its rays upon his coat of fur He looked up towards the sky as he heard an all to the familiar sound of a seagull cawing most likely calling out to his little friends.
He got up from his small ship from the docks and began to travel towards the town. He needed to get some work done after his last training session was so vigorous. The streets seemed to be bustling with excitement. He smiled and saw a flyer pinned up against a wall. He grinned happily. This was just the sort of work he was looking for. A world noble seeking to collect animals as a test of one's skill. Oh, this would be most entertaining. He would travel through the town and arrive at the designated meeting place his massive twelve-foot frame towering over most of the gathered crowd. He would take up a seat in the back and wait for the following instructions of what was to come to pass this day.
The Honorable Lord Gabriel LaCroux requires a team of strong fighters as well as capable explorers for an exclusive mission. If you are interested and believe you have what it takes, bring me the most wonderful creatures you can find. The ability to work well with others is a must, and so this task must be completed in teams , which must consist of at least two people.
"Teams? How am I supposed to find a teammate to help me catch animals!?" Raphael was flummoxed by the last line of the notice he had found outside of a dojo. While he obviously wasn't thrilled at the prospect of working for another Noble after how poorly his last experience had gone, Raphael wasn't one to throw away opportunities. Raphael wants nothing more than to be recognized as a strong individual, and the prospect of an exclusive mission was too good for him to pass up. The issue that the last line of the notice presented wasn't one that was easily resolved by just one man however, as finding someone that would be willing to assist him would likely prove difficult.
Taking in his surroundings, Raphael sized up everyone in his general vicinity; Raphael was confident in his ability to recognize strength, and was sure that if there was a worthy individual around he would recognize their ability. Most of the people around him seemed totally weak, with the majority of them being new trainees at the local dojos. None of the poor fools around Raphael seemed strong enough to even compete in the fighting pits. "Fuck, these guys look totally pathetic. There's no way any of these clowns could even catch a fish, let alone anything with legs." The young pirate was beginning to give up hope as he wandered the hole riddled landscape of Karate Island, failing to see anyone that seemed worth his time. Before long, Raphael found himself gazing upon a large gathering of individuals in a very concentrated area. Once again, Raphael looked through the crowd for anyone that seemed strong, and no one managed to catch his eye. Raphael released a large sigh of discontent as he pushed his way into the crowd. The notice specifically said that the task was to be done in teams, so even if he didn't find anyone suitable he'd have to settle on someone.
"Hey! I need someone to help me complete this mission, and one of you guys is going to be the lucky person I choose as my partner." Raphael's exclamation would likely grab the attention of all 20 people that were gathered, and that was exactly his intention. The notice said that the noble was in need of both fighters and explorers. If Raphael planned to get hired as a fighter, working with an explorer to complete the initial test would ensure that he had less competition, so he decided to try and find an explorer to work with him. "If there are any explorers that would be interested, please come forward." Raphael had no worries about any of the crowd getting aggressive, especially as his hand never left the folds of his tunic in which his gun rested. Maintaining a grip on his weapon throughout his entire speech, Raphael was more than prepared for any aggressive action taken towards him.

This was going to be such a pain in the ass. He thought to himself. Most people hated the mink tribe for ignorant rumors and declared them cannibals and nothing more than a mindless beast. What ridiculousness. He merely got many awkward glances at him. But mostly those of hatred and loathing. Finding a teammate who wasn't prejudiced was going to be a hell of a problem. Sure there had been some good humans along his travels who were willing to trade supplies with him. Well more like tolerate his business was more of an accurate term. He sighed and folded his arms and glared at the people who stared at him giving looks of distrust and hatred at him. These lesser minks sure were testy. Then again this was a contest.
Perhaps they were being motivated more by greed tan common sense. He would never really understand these people. He was from a purely mink inhabited island. He sighed and looked around the area until he heard a voice call out. he thought perhaps it was the one who was running things however he was mistaken. There was a lesser mink who was searching for a partner. It seemed that most of the contestants had paired up so he merely stood up to his fullest height and slowly made his way over to the unknown man who was seeking an explorer. "Well since no ones volunteering my names Junichi but my friends call me Jun, I am technically an explorer but I'm more of a fighter, but I don't mind being the explorer in the team." He slowly outstretched his hand. A custom he was still getting slightly used to. He smiled kindly at the man. He did not that the man however did have a free hand above his weapon ready to be drawn out at a moment of any altercation. His bisento was upon his back affixed by some rope.
He smiled and was about to speak when suddenly there was the sound of a speaker turning on. He looked around as he heard a man's voice come out though he was nowhere to be seen. "Good afternoon contestants, I am Gerard Kenway Lord Gabriel LaCroux's assistant. You all are gathered here and have been given the privilege to have a chance to work for my lord however the task will not be easy. If you have all read the flier congratulations your literate and it will save me time from having to explain the rules of this competition. Now get out there and bring back my master his prizes!"
The crowd roared in unison however Junichi would remain silent as he looked at his new potential partner. He nodded his head and watched as the gathered crowd of people all clamored past each other all vying for the best hunting spots on the island. He sighed and shook his head and slowly began to walk past Raphael. "Let's get to work partner shall we?" he grinned and narrowed his eyes and headed off from the town however he moved at a pace so that his possible partner could keep up with him.
He sniffed the air and closed his eyes allowing his more primitive senses to captivate and catch hold of him. he smiled as he heard a twig snap nearby and he quickly gave chase to what was there. It was time for the great hunt to begin he felt his heart beating excitedly though he had his preferred method for hunting. he would not turn in any creature that had fur on it though. No to him they were more of a bestial form of mink incapable of speech and relied on their animal instincts. He shouted from ove rhis shoulder " I think i got one, Ill flush him out cover me incase he tries to make a run for it."
Raphael wasn't confident that he'd find a partner, and the thought that he was going to have to find out a way to complete the task alone was entering his mind when Junichi made his presence known. When the monkey mink first approached Raphael the man looked at him with a single eyebrow raised. "Well OK then Jun, I look forward to finding out what you're capable of." Raphael reached out with his hand to grab Junichi's, returning the handshake that had been offered. The monkey mink smiled and began to speak before being interrupted by the entrance of Gerard. Raphael listened to him speak, taking note of how he referred to the chance to work for his master as a privileged. 'Interesting, how devoted are these nobles' servants to them?' By the time that thought had finished flashing through his mind, the people around him began loudly roaring. Raphael restrained himself from pulling out his revolver and picking six people to silence, observing how his partner for the upcoming task remained silent. He was glad for that fact, as working with one of those louder people in the crowd likely would've led to him tearing his hair out.
"Lets get to work partner." Raphael agreed with the words of Junichi, and would follow him as he walked. The young thief noticed the minkman utilizing his animal senses to help him find an animal, and decided that he would defer to Junichi for this part of the task at least. Considering that a minkman was effectively an animal anyways, Junichi would likely be much better at finding one than Raphael would. He would be proven right not long after, as the minkman took off running towards something he had heard. Raphael chose to simply stand as the monkey hunted, wanting to avoid stepping on his toes. Once Jun finally found the thing that he had been hunting, Raphael would approach slowly so as to not startle the creature, "What did you find?"

As he ran through into the brush. charging in on al four limbs his heart beating excitedly as he used his animal senses and looked down on the ground. there were tracks indicative very fresh by the looks of it and a freshly broken twig was on the ground as he kept calm his eyes often looking around back and forth. He sniffed the air over and over again turning his head. There was a familiar scent in the air. It took him a few moments to process what it was and he stood in his tracks. the blatant scent of fear. He sighed and reached out his hand into some bushes and pulled out a dog by the scruff of its neck. He looked at it sympathetically. he sighed however it was his job to deliver the animal he found even if it was a furred being.
He gently brought it to his chest as the small dog let out a small whine. it was definitely a stray there was no indication of a collar or collar ring around the beast's neck. He smiled and gently began to stroke it upon its back to help calm it down. The small dog at first growled at him warning him until he felt the gentle caress of the giant minks hand. slowly but surely the fur that was raised on the back of its neck calmed itself as the beast's muscles relaxed. " He sighed as had heard the voice of his new partner call out to him. "He carried the dog in one arm and began to return towards Raphael. though along his way there was a loud sound of the brush rustling around him. Could it perhaps a pack of animals that had come into the area or perhaps it was this particular dogs pack. However, he would not stick around to honestly find out. along the side as he heard the brush once again rustle as the sound of an animal's heavy footsteps. It seemed it was tracking him He made a mental note of that and as soon as he returned to Raphael he looked him straight in the eye.
"Just a common dog though somethings out there watching us be on your toes partner. Somethings out there and its hunting us could be more than one." He continued to hold the dog in his left arm gently setting him on the ground and attaching a rope around its neck and tied it to a low hanging branch. He looked down at the pup with its brown eye staring at his own golden as he gritted his teeth and turned his back on the dog and spoke " I'm going back in watch out for that dog and keep your eyes out I might flush something out in your direction." He once again charged back into the brush as he looked out and charged towards the stalking beast.
Raphael watched Jun run after the animal he had sensed, curious as to what it was. On top of his curiosity, he took note of the way the monkey mink traveled. Seeing a creature go from speaking like a human to running like a wild animal was certainly a new experience to the young pirate. He understood that there were many races aside from humans populating the seas, but in all his time on RedFin Island he had run across mostly humans, with the occasional Fishman living in the slums of the Island catching his eye. Junichi was the first nonhuman with whom Raphael would be actively working to complete a task, and the prospect of finding out about the capabilities of a race so different from his own was certainly an exciting one. Once Junichi's target was revealed to be a common dog, Raphael had a hard time masking his disappointment. "Damn, it would've been cool if we could've caught something cooler. We still have plenty of time to look around though."
Raphael was obviously still instantly smitten with the creature and was not a fan of Junichi's decision to tied it to a tree with a rope. He'd mention it to the monkey mink later, but he had more important things to worry about at the moment. Junichi let him know that something was watching the two, so Raphael's guard went up immediately. His hand had left his revolver once the dog was found, and he fought the urge to pull it out now. The sound of the shot would likely terrify the poor dog and he had no desire to torment the creature further. Instead, he took up a combat stance and stared into the direction the rustling had come from. He had no way of knowing what had caused the sound, and the possibility that it would be another dog scared Raphael more than the possibility that it was something more dangerous. He knew that he couldn't present just a dog to the noble, and that at the very least he'd have to bring multiple. But Raphael didn't want to have to present a few stray dogs to prove that he was a capable hunter, he wanted to bring something unique to the table. A creature that the noble had never seen before, and that he'd have to add to his personal collection. Surely someone with as much beli as a noble would be willing to pay for such a creature, and Raphael was hoping to get as much beli as he could for this mission.

Just as he went through the bush once more his eyes light up. He heard the unmistakable sound of a boars grunt. The sound of trotting hooves as it came barreling out of the forest. His tusks pointed straight out at him ready to gore the mink. Or so he had thought. The boar was actually heading in the direction of his partner he narrowed his eyes and reached out and grabbed the beast by its tail and dug his feet into the ground and held onto it. The beast squealed in anger and stopped its attempted charge towards his partner and jun immediately released its tail.
He barred his teeth at the boar as they began to circle one another. Despite his overwhelming size, the boar did not back down. This showed him that the beast had bravery or perhaps it was simply just too stupid to realize in its anger that it was clearly outmatched. The pair stopped and suddenly the boar charged towards Junichi. Jun responded in kind as he held out his arms ready to catch the boar by its tusks. the pair crashed into one another as jun and the boar collided. His hands holding onto the boar's tusks as the pair of them fought for ground much like a sumo match.
He gritted his teeth and sighed he hadn't been using his full amount of strength against the boar at the moment no ooh no if he had he might have accidentally killed the animal. He didn't want that on his conscious. he bared his teeth as the boar began to push him back. His feet treading into the dirt making marks on the ground. Jun merely locked his golden eyes upon the boar and grinned. "You-gara have spirt mighty boar but play times OVER!" He tensed his muscles and dug his feet into the ground stopping his movement immediately. He then lifted the boar up by its tusks and began to spin it around in a circle. He laughed hard and when he finally stopped spinning he released the boar and sent it flying off through some brushes. "Woops to hard, uki ki ki. Oi partner You alright? threw my prey to hard I'm going after it should be safe now that sure was close though."
He would then make his way heading off towards where he threw it. He saw a trail of destruction as he passed smashed branches and leaves abruptly torn off. He would move at his fullest speed and find the boar on its side by the river's edge leading out to the sea. He bent over the beast and felt breath coming in and out of it. Apparently it was unconscious. That was most helpful at least in this situation. Maybe if he was lucky he could find something better out here before he made his way back to his partner. He only needed one more animal to collect after this guy if it was common though he hoped that it was something a little more exciting than that.
When the boar charged from the brush in Junichi's direction, another creature caught Raphael's eye. A small cat, completely hairless and looking as if it didn't belong to anyone. He knew that there were very rare and expensive cats that were bred to not grow hair, but this was not one of them. It looked more like someone had deliberately shaved all of the hair off of the poor creature. Raphael hated the thought of someone doing something so cruel to an innocent creature, but he could potentially benefit from the unfortunate circumstance. If he could clean up the stray and get it fed, he could maybe convince the noble that it was a more rare animal. 'It's a long shot but I might as well try; if I get called out I can just say that I didn't know.' Catching the small animal was an easy task, as he only had to expend a bit of energy to launch himself in the cat's direction, scooping the creature up in his arms. It fought and scratched at him but he could handle a few scratches.
While Junichi tussled with the boar, Raphael began a battle of wills with the small cat, holding the hissing creature up in front of his face just far enough that its paw swipes would have no chance of reaching him. Staring into the eyes of the creature, he met its hissing with growls of his own, effectively daring it to challenge his dominance. The cat was angry, and it was evident that it was not happy about being held, but Raphael was unfazed. He was the human, therefore he could tell the cat what to do. Eventually, the cat calmed itself, realizing that it would get nowhere trying to intimidate the thief. Having asserted his dominance over the cat, he decided to try and search for another creature. Looking up above his head, he saw a tree with a bird's next on the top. "There has to be something up there, maybe I'll get lucky and it will be a valuable creature."
Raphael set the cat down on the ground, preparing to climb the tree. "Junichi, makw sure the cat doesn't leave." He said to his partner for the task who had just returned from his melee with the boar. Raphael jumped up ad began scaling the tall tree, eventually reaching the branch on which the nest sat, about 8 meters high. He looked into the nest and saw that it was empty, no eggs or birds in sight. Just as Raphael prepared to get down from the tree, he heard an ear-piercing screech and looked up to see a pair of wings descending towards him.

He grunted as he bent over the boar. It had a foul smell upon it. Pigs were such dirty animals. But this one took the cake. he sighed and wafted his right hand in front of his face he as he swatted away some flies that were hovering about the smelly pig. To them, it was probably a delicate aroma of the sweetest nature. He merely sighed reached out and grabbed the creature by its hind legs. he sighed and began to drag the large beast behind him. He did not take any pleasure at all from this fight no. He was in a way turning in his own furred kind but in a way, it was justifiable in away. they were going to a good home or so he had believed. A lord instead of being out here in the wild where anything could happen to them,
They would be better off. He stopped for a moment releasing the boar's legs and went to the riverside and began to scoop water into his hands and wash his face and drink from the water source as well. He felt the cool sensation chill his body as he drank the water. His tail wagged happily. Catching animals was thirsty work. Perhaps he should bring some water back for his partner. He nodded his head it would be good teamwork in a sense. looking out for one another. So he reached into his inner jacket and pulled out his now empty sake gourd and dipped it into the water and began to rinse it out.
He hummed lightly to himself while rinsing the gourd out of any lingering after taste of sake. His mind drifted for a moment as he reached for his locket and clicked it open. the mechanism clicking to life as a gentle melody began to emit from it. His father had not been able to get the whole song on it but the final parts were etched into the mechanism. He then sang along quietly to himself in unison when the melody began to play "I will still pray endlessly for this young boy to one day find love unconditional And that he may be kissed on his hand!" he sighed and closed his eyes a singular teach ran down his right side of hi face. He quickly wiped it away and returned to filling up the gourd and proceeding to put it in his jacket and as he reached towards the baor a feeling came upon him. as if he were being watched he heard the sound of his companion call out to him to watch over some cat. He would comply and shouted. "Alright, on my way partner. Say you got a name partner by any chance gave you mine but never caught yours? I should really know who I am working with builds trust"
He grabbed the boar when suddenly he looked up and saw an intriguing sight. there was a large macaw parrot in a tree above him perched looking down at him. Oh, that would be a wonderful pet for a noble. Least in his own mind, he had a plan the bird was definitely going to annoy the hell out of him so he thought why not. He released the boars leg and quickly began to climb up the tree where the bird was and grabbed the parrot by its tail feathers. The bird gave an angry screech and began to claw and peck at Jun's outstretched hand. he merely gritted his teeth and held on tighter and pulled the bird down with him and began to climb down with his prey. He had finally caught enough prey to please this so-called lord. though they were all common animals a disappointment to be sure.
However, it did meet the standards of the contest so he would be quite happy with his catches. Perhaps if he stumbled upon anything else he may just give it to his partner to speed things up. After all he wanted to get this over and done with and head out to sea and set sail for this new island. No that was a bit of a lie. What he wanted more than anything was to get back to his training. He needed to be stronger oh yes so much stronger if he wanted to get his goal. That and his secret ambition of revenge if he was going to take on a celestial dragon he was going to need a lot of strength since they could just call upon an admiral from the navy so he needed to be patient though to get his strength at his current level there was no way he would survive an admirals attack.
He sighed and looked at the bird and brought it to his face a few inches away and gave out a bestial monkey screech. the bird immediately fell silent and still as he began to drag the boar back to the camp catching site of what appeared to be a shaved cat he stopped and put the boar down by the dog and put the parrot down and tied some of the rope around its leg he had leashed with the dog. He slowly turned around and saw a most unusual sight as two animals came out from the brush running towards there camp. "we got company partner!"
When Raphael first began to climb the tree, he was interrupted by his partner asking for his name. In all the commotion of finding a partner and looking for animals, he hadn't even introduced himself. "Oh sorry about that, I thought I'd already introduced myself. My name is Raphael Sendo, and I'm going to be the richest man in the world one day." His proclamation accompanied by a grin that stretched from ear to ear, he was earnest in his conviction as that was the goal that had sent him out to the seas in the first place. He understood that people would look at him strangely upon hearing his goals, but it never stopped him from declaring them loudly. If he was afraid to tell people his dream, he would surely lack the courage to pursue it. Raphael would wait a moment to gauge his partner's response to his words before scaling the tree, eager to find out what sort of bird lived in the nest he'd found.
Once Raphael reached the nest, he was shocked to find it empty. That surprise only increased once he heard a loud screech announcing the presence of the nest's owner. A red-tailed hawk; a very common bird, but it looked both cool and terrifying nonetheless as it swooped down towards Raphael. "Oh no! Stay away! Please god no!" His cries were loud enough for anyone nearby to hear, but they were all for nothing as the hawk descended ruthlessly upon him, attempting to peck away at his hair and ears, flying just out of reach before returning with a vengeance anytime Raphael attempted to swing at it. Finally, Raphael made his fatal mistake. As he swung at the hawk with his left hand, he left his right side completely open, and the bird of prey saw and took advantage of this weakness immediately. It flew towards his exposed right hand and screeched a sort of battle cry. The creature would descend on the right hand of Raphael, talons extended with every intention of attacking Raphael's poor fingers.
Just before the bird could reach him, Raphael would trade one unfavorable circumstance for another, choosing to let go of the branch that the nest sat on, beginning to rapidly descend the second he did so. Raphael was not a light man, he weighed nearly 600 pounds in fact, and that weight would certainly work against him as he fell. Raphael was not ready to break his ankles today, so he needed to think fast. Forming his hand into a claw, Raphael would grab onto the tree with as much strength as he could, cracking the bark but only slightly. Once he was securely holding on, he'd use his free hand to grab a nearby branch, stabilizing himself. The hawk began descending on Raphael once again, but this time he was prepared. The moment the bird was close, Raphael's claw-shaped hand would jet away from the bark towards its body, catching it in midair. Feeling triumphant, Raphael would attempt to climb down the tree with a single hand, but by the time he was 3 meters off the ground, he'd lose his grip on the tree completely. It didn't stop him from holding onto the hawk though, and even after falling and landing on his ass, he felt good about having caught the bird. "Cool, at least I found something cool even if it isn't the rarest animal I could find. I should probably keep looking though." Raphael had a small piece of string in his pocket purely because it is convenient that he does, and tied it securely around the foot of the bird before tying it to a branch near where Junichi had tied up the dog he'd found.
"We got company partner"
Raphael was just about to begin searching again when his attention was grabbed by his partner. When Raphael turned to look in the same direction as Junichi he was greeted with the sight of a very strange pairing of animals, a small iguana that was followed by a much larger lizard. "Is that a komodo dragon!" Raphael's eyes nearly bugged out of his head at seeing the poisonous lizard. "What the hell is a komodo dragon doing here?" Raphael had no clue where the magnificent beast had come from, but he was glad that it was there. "Junichi, if we can catch this thing, the noble will be over the moon. We have to be careful though, as just a single bite from those jaws it has can be fatal." After saying the word fatal out loud, it caused him to rethink his involvement in the fight entirely. "Actually partner, you saw the two lizards first, how about you bring them in to the noble yourself. You can have all of the credit of course." Fighting with a hawk had nearly caused him to break both of his legs, he was definitely not prepared for a scuffle with a komodo dragon at the moment. "I'll just look over here in this tall grass for any more animals." And so that's what Raphael did, he walked over to an area where the grass grew exceptionally tall, over 3 feet high, and pushed it apart in order to have a peek inside.

He was ready as he had warned his partner previously about the incoming animals. However he had been curious about the screeching animal and the abrupt loud thud. More than likely his partner had been fooling around with a animal in a tree. He did however catch his partners name and his dream. This brought a smile to his face a man who wished to be the wealthiest man in the world eh. That he could get behind as it was some how tied to his own dream to find the one piece treasure. He sighed and shook his head as he stared at the strange pair. Usually a kamado dragon would of eaten the smaller lizard. He narrowed his eyes as he started at the strange pair. Could the tiny lizard be one of its young? He stared back and forth at the pair of lizards. He didn't see any similarities besides the scale color.
He smiled as his partner shouted out a warning to him. He cracked his right hands knuckle happily. He appreciated teh information given to him by Raphael and stared down the hissing lizards. "Well then I better not get to close to them. Thanks for the info Raph, Oh and by the way my dream is to become the worlds greatest martial artist so might find profit in that for you if your interested uki ki ki." He measured the distance between him and the lizards and Raphael. He would need to make sure his partner was out of range of this attack he wanted to end this quickly and turn these creatures in. He was getting rather bored honestly with this island and wanted to go on to bigger things and find something a little more stimulating.
He smiled as the pair of lizards were approximately two meters away from Raphael and himself along with the other animals. he just needed to get within one meter of the pair for his new technique to work. He let out another bestial cry towards the kamado dragon as he had done before to the parrot to shut it up and charge towards the pair of lizards. Moving at his fullest capable speed. He was going to end this now. he held out his hands together in a opened palm fashion and he channeled electro into them. Though this was not same standard technique this was something of his own creation.
He formed the electro into a ball approximately the size of his own hand into his right hand and as soon as he was within one meter of the two targets he jumped into the air and spoke towards the lizard pair "have a little taste of my Lunar ball Blitz!" He would let gravity do the rest of his work for him The electro ball slamming into the ground causing a wide-range blast of electro to shock around the impact area in a one meter radius electrocuting the pair of lizards. The creatures gave cries as the electricity coursed through there systems as the lighting covered there bodies. Junichi smiled at the success of his newest technique. The pair of lizards fell to the ground singed but alive. He let out a triumphant roar raising his arms into the air his tail wagging furiously. He panted and caught his breath and walked over to the lizards grabbing the smallest and stuff it inside his jacket and grabbing the kamado dragon by its tail and began to bring it back with his catches.
With this Junichi would have enough to pass. He Looked out towards Raphael and grabbed his own captures and smiled as a new pair of animals appeared near Raph. "Raph, on your six! Hurry it up we got our catches lets go get our money." He smiled and began to walk slowly out of the forest with his prey heading back towards the town his job accomplished and his stomach growling. It would take some time since he was carrying such a load three live animals and three unconscious ones. But by the time he got to town he would more than likely have Raphael on his heels. He smiled as he approached the butler handing him the rope to the dog and parrot he had caught earlier while he dropped off the unconscious boar, and small lizard and finally the rares treat of the kamodo dragon.
The butler smirked at his work and nodded his head and reached into his pocket and pulled out a envelop and handed it towards the mink and he took it gracefully and bowed politely towards the butler and spoke. "My partner should be here in a few moments he had the same amount as me and the same type or common and one rarity . Told me to go on ahead thought you should know." With that once he saw his partner arrive onto the scene and get his payment he would head towards the docks. this mission was now over and now he would head out to the north blue.
Description:Jun charges up a ball of electricity with both hands and slams it into the ground, causing a wide-range blast capable of electrocuting multiple foes at once within a 1 meter radius of effect.
Raphael heard the sounds of Junichi using his powers of electo to deal with the Komodo dragon; and he watched, in silent awe, admiring the powers that were granted to Junichi due to his mink physiology. It was amazing to him the world he lived in, and the sorts of fantastic people that he'd never known about. Junichi's dream of becoming the world's greatest martial artist seemed a lot more believable to Raphael as he watched the money-man create and throw a ball of electricity at the pair of creatures. Such superhuman abilities were unheard of where Raphael came from, and the thought of having to battle against people like that made him worry slightly. Such thoughts were shook away though as he focused on the task at hand,"Man fuck all of that worrying, I have a job to do and I'm gonna complete it, whether I have to take down monkey men or boogeymen to do do it." Gazing into the familiar field of tall grass, Raphael noticed two creatures he certainly hadn't seen the last time he was there.
A small ferret, which wasn't a particularly uncommon creature but was still cool in its on way; locked in a confrontation with a zebra of all creatures. "A zebra? What the hell is a zebra doing here?" Raphael was thrown for a loop, as he'd obviously heard of zebra's but hadn't expected to see one just roaming around when he happened to be also looking for rare animals. Grateful for his good luck, Raphael interrupted the two creatures by jumping directly in the middle of them. The two creatures were obviously startled but Raphael was able to grab up the ferret immediately with one arm, using the other to swing himself onto the back of the zebra. The striped creature was obviously not happy about being ridden by anyone, especially not a man that was only slightly smaller than itself. The zebra and ferret were both aggressive in trying to escape, but Raphael was not relenting. The wills of the three creatures were all pitted against one another and only one would emerge as the victor. Just the same as with the cat and the hawk, Raphael's will was the strongest and surpassed those held by the two animals. With Raphael's will being dominant, he was able to calm the two animals before leading them over to where he had tied the others. With the four now docile animals in tow Raphael followed Junichi to where the note had told him to meet the noble's housecarl.
The man didn't say a word to Junichi, and was also silent when Raphael approached him, though he did raise an eyebrow upon spotting the zebra. "I know, I was as baffled as you were when I found her." The housecarl smiled slightly, if only at how ridiculous the idea of keeping a zebra as a pet would be,"Gabriel will be most amused by this, he's been telling me for weeks how badly he wants to taste the meat of a rare animal. This should do quite nicely." Raphael paused at that, he didn't know that the noble would be eating the creatures. He looked directly into the eyes of the zebra before looking back and the sadistic smirk of the butler. After a moment Raphael handed the animals over to the butler, making a promise to himself that he would make sure none of them were eaten. "Perfect, the boat that will be taking you to the site of your assignment will be leaving shortly. Please enjoy the trip, and remember: Gabriel LaCroux has no sympathy for thieves."
