This topic will be used to create the setting of the world by identifying Components to determine the nature of what is going on and where it is happening.
ComponentsIf you look at the world as a plate of food, each Component is an ingredient that is influencing the world in some way. Properly identifying Components helps accurately shape and influence the world by being able to effectively utilize the pieces that act to influence the events, culture, tone, and pace of the world. Components are recognized as communities of people that share the same goal and ideals. While some Components may be small now, each of them has the potential to develop to a point that they can compete with the other Components listed.
Pirates: - Anyone who raises a Jolly Roger, regardless if they commit an actual act of piracy or not. Typically, pirates roam the world by traveling the seas and commit atrocities against the people.
Marines - The military sea force of the World Government and their primary instrument to administer their law on the world.
SSG - Short for Special Science Group, members of this branch are in charge of researching, creating, and developing new technology to aid in the war on piracy.
World Government - The largest organization in the world that is compromised of many nations around the world. They seek to unify the world under one banner.
Thieving Organizations - Various collectives throughout the world who specialize in stealing extremely valuable treasures and objects.
Explorers & Adventurers - Those who roam the world freely in search of adventure. Some are sponsored by nobility and have been bestowed ships, provisions, and crews.
Under World - The Underworld holds all the taboos of the world.
- Lips - Brothels/Prostitution, Information Brokers, Talent Agency
- Hands - Selling & Buying. Anything that deals with the acquisition of and distribution of tangible goods such as Weapons, Slaves, Drugs, Technology, Devil Fruits, etc. This is the Black Market.
- Arms - Hitmen, Manpower, Underground Fighting
Terrorist - A group of hell raisers who have been the cause of many acts of pointless violence.
Revolution - A small faction of rebels and self-proclaimed freedom fighters who have been causing problems for the World Government.
Holy Army - A private army that is employed by a small council of World Nobles. They are separate from the World Government, but since they are the pawns of Nobles, they have similar freedoms, privileges, and authorities that Marines have.
Bounty Hunting Organization - Various collective throughout the world who target criminals for the bounties on their heads.
Unique Clans - Tribes of fighters like Kuja, Happo Navy, Bandits, Vikings, Samurai, etc
World Market - A World Government licensed bazaar that sails the trade routes of the world circulating goods from one place to another. It is the conjoined monetary effort of investments from some of the largest businesses in the world. They also have mailing services.
Nobles - The various ranks of Nobility. Not all World Government affiliated islands have Nobility, but only those who lead countries apart of the World Government can be considered nobility.
- Low Noble - Counts, ministers, dukes, and lords, who serve royalty or just privileged citizens within a kingdom who have been granted higher living through their income or a High Noble.
- High Noble - Kings, queens, princes, and princesses recognized as leaders of kingdoms who are apart of the World Government.
- World Noble - World Nobles are more commonly known as Celestial Dragons, descendants of the original 20 Kings. They primarily reside in Marie Jois, but occasionally descend from their heaven to engage in worldly affairs for their own pleasures.
