APPEARANCE: He is a young lad of an unremarkable height, standing at 1.75m if you don’t count his pair of lupine ears. His hair is a dark shade of blue with red hues sprinkled into his bangs, and styled into a spiky, messy explosion. Kaz’s skin has a latino tan to it, and his eyes are a brilliant amber, although he wears an eyepatch over one of them, that crosses his cheekbone and temple. He sports a fit body with small scars scattered over his skin from fights and small accidents, and his voice is an upbeat, smooth baritone.
PERSONALITY
He’s an outgoing, happy-go-lucky, enthusiastic and cheerful fluffball who likes to be with people, and party!
For the most part, his headspace is filled with ideas that will lead to nowhere, he’s very creative and spontaneous, something that comes very handy for when he’s cooking up a meal with the spare scraps that he can get his hands on. He takes the impossible as a challenge, and he likes to surprise people with what he can do, although his zany ambitions don’t always give fruit.
He is a bit naive and trusts people too easily, even after being a slave for so long. He passionately believes in the good that lies within everyone, despite everything that he has seen, and doesn’t think that anyone can be truly fully evil, and that there’s always a spark of hope and light in everyone.

HISTORY
He was born on a slave farm ship, among other mink-kind. He just another of the bunch, another of the masse-bred slaves to be sold off to the highest bidder, although during these earlier years, he didn’t understand that it was something bad. It was just how life was, for him, and those around him, it was what was normal. Even having his slave brand over his eye seemed normal to him, not tragic, becuse everyone around him had brands too.
Matreya and Hisuna were his “mothers”, neither of them his true biological progenitor, but the ship had a tight family culture that extended to whoever was part of the same group of cells in the ship. Matreya was a soft-spoken, gentle bovine-woman, and Hisuna was a sly, cheeky fox.
Matreya showed Kaz compassion, and love. Whenever Kaz got into a fight with other kids or got pranked on, Matreya would take care of his tears and soothe his anxiety and teach him how to control his feelings, to not get too angry over small things, and to focus on the larger picture. Hisuna on the other hand, taught him how to live in the real world, how to be filthier than filth and lie, steal and deceive, and how to avoid being screwed by those same things himself.
During his early teens, he got sold off to the owner of a retirement home to help out with house chores. There, he learned how to cook, change diapers and do the general care that senile folk need, and in exchange, he was fed and was given a small corner to live and sleep in - but he was happy for it. It was better than the cell at the ship, and while he missed his mothers, he knew that sooner or later he would have to leave them, he already had that conclusion in his heart.
However, he also held in his heart the lessons of Hisuna, to take advantage of situations whenever possible, because the world was shit, and he’d eat shit unless he fought back against destiny. And so, waiting for the right chance, during a shift where he was largely alone, he took the opportunity to just flee away from there, running as quick as she could - he got followed by the place's guards, but he proved to be nimble enough to evade them thanks to his animal heritage.
It has now been a handful of years since he had taken his freedom, and he has lived as a rogue so far, taking odd jobs here and there, and sometimes settling in places to work in restaurants as a cook, but never staying for too long. Because he wanted to see the world, being locked up in a cell for so long had given him a wild case of being extremely curious and adventurous, wanting to see everything that this world has to offer.
