Greeting fellow members, and staff a like Due to the recent drop of the combat system. I am sure a lot of people are confuse so in spirit of help. I ask that the staff created a newbie combat guide to explain each example of combat rp. I am sure this will help the player base as a whole. I will also include a poll so the staff can see that people do need this guide.

That doesn’t whittle it down. There’s already descriptions of damage, how damage is caused is self explanatory, how long it takes to recover is detailed, sub tier differences are explained. What exactly needs to be expanded upon? As far as I see, things make sense and are understandable. If I’m going to help you I’m going to need you to be specific and give me an example of what additions you need and to where or what. Saying the whole thing is too broad of a statement

If everyone understands the combat system you just said and everything is explain . How come in task , events, arc and campaign how is there is no one using the system correctly ? It because it not fully explain that why I ask for examples . If I understood it I wouldn’t have bother making this poll/ topic . So make a guide making everything more easy to understand .

Maybe some mods or a mod could RP out a fight between two NPCs and show examples of the combat system in use. Things like exertion, vigor, order of operations and how calculations would actually look in a fight, with brief explanations of the mechanics behind it.

I didn’t say everyone understands it. I’m trying to help you, but I need you to tell me what exactly needs elaboration (what doesn’t make sense to you). People aren’t using the combat system because they are fighting NPC they themselves are manning, this there’s no real need to apply to combat system verbatim since those scenarios are story driven as opposed to PvP or staff moderates scenarios.
So again I’m asking you to give me an example of what it is you think needs fleshing out and I can possibly begin to help you.
A mock battle like Rigel is suggesting sounds like a viable addition.
Yeah I remember on opn staff had staff mods battle for players to read. I enjoy that I think that would be very helpful to see examples of the combat system in battle thread. That will kill 2 birds with one stone. So his idea is good one!
