Name: Faroese Type: Ore Rank: B Biome: Mountains, Tundra Location: Unknown at the moment, however it is exclusive to the Calm-Belt and Paradise. The one exception is Atmos Island, North Blue, however it's incredibly rare there. Description: In it's raw form, Faroese takes the appearance of a bright blue metal in the rocks. It's normally found in the walls of caves or sticking out of mountains, however it's common that the area is in a colder climate. Normally found in high altitudes, because of it's electrical properties the metal has to be mined while either grounded or with a non-conductive tool. Use/Effects: Faroese has one major effects. This effect is that while in motion, the metal generates an electrical charge, causing it to become a sort of self-sufficient lightning rod. They can also hold a slight charge to them as well, making gear a short of battery as well. Weapons can utilize this electricity in a lightning form, to a degree, and armor gives a lightning resistance. For weapons, the range of these attacks cannot exceed the weapon's length, such as swords or hammers, unless it's made for that, such as a bow or gun.Name: Faroese Type: Ore Rank: B Biome: Mountains, Tundra Location: Unknown at the moment, however it is exclusive to the Calm-Belt and Paradise. Name: Satan Steel Type: Ore Rank: C Biome: Desert Location: Bulls Island Description: Satan Steel, or SS for short, is found in a bit of an uncommon way. SS is found inside large clusters of rock that are often 10 to 15 meters underneath the surface. It's easy to distinguish a rock that contains some SS in it because it will radiate a large amount of heat, so much that it would leave 3rd degree burns if one went to touch it with their bare hands. One of the most effective ways to extract the SS from it's rock is to submerge it in water and chip away the rock with a hammer and chisel.
Once out, SS has the appearance of a jet black metal that has a faint, warm glow in it. It always radiates a heat of at least 330° C and can reach up to 1300°C if not constantly cooled. Use/Effects: This metal is special for the fact that it can generate it's own constant source of heat, making it easy to also ignite itself as the smallest bit of friction will ignite the metal. The downside of this, however, is that there is no way to turn this off, only cool it, so unless one has a resistance to heat or is underwater, eventually this metal will become so hot that they are unable to hold it.
