Name: Aqua Jet Tier: Basic Range: Self Description: A simple application that combines Melissa's unique control of Mermaid Combat and her Aqua Construct technique, simply requiring her to have water upon her fins/feet. With a simple twist of the feet she is able to create mini bursts of water that boost her forward on land. Alternatively, this ability has a much stronger effect when in water and can be up-kept. Destruction Range: N/A Duration: Instant on land Upkept in water Base Stats: 10% boost in speed and agility on land. 30% boost in speed and agility in water though due to this un-natural speed a 10% loss in perception. Name: Drowning Slash Tier: Basic Range: close Description: Through the use of her Aqua Creation trait, Melissa is able to create an enhanced sword that she uses in conjunction with this technique. The blade grows to 30 inches. The swords she creates aren't held but instead cover her hands [think psyloke]. This attack allows the water of the sword to cover both her hands instead of one allowing her to deliver one strong slash before it returns to one of her hands. Name: Water Construction Tier: Basic Range: Self Description: Through her unique abilities to command the water itself. Melissa can create solid constructs and shape them into whatever she fancies, though basic non harmful items and mundane things don't require any stamina drain and can be freely used, wielding something properly can be a struggle. She can not make anything larger than 22 inches in width and height. Generally this skill is used to create her blade in which she does battle with allowing for her weak hands to become her strength, there is no need to hold a sword that is connected to you. She can not create advanced items or anything like a gun etc and things can not be thrown. Destruction Range: small Duration: Upkeep Base Stats: 10% strength and power.
Name: Mermaid's Stream Tier: Basic Range: Mid Description: A very basic and simple ability. Melissa grasps a body of water, with a yank and a pull, she is able to create a powerful stream of water that she can use in a variety of ways. By aiming it at an opponent, the user is able to push back opponents up to roughly ten feet with the force of the water. The user is also able to ride the stream to help amplify their speed and travel from one area to another quickly. At this stage the user is only able to go in one direction.
