Sunadokei is a gigantic mermaid that towers over all but Giants in both height and weight. She has light green skin, with a long mane of much darker green hair that runs down the length of her back well past her hips. The mermaid woman has fish fin-like ears, and brilliant blue eyes that turn crimson when enraged. She has an exceptionally curvaceous body with an enormous jiggly bust and wide childbearing hips. The top of Sunadokei's head is adorned with two massive jellyfish-like protrusions that she styles as hair accessories, along with a large blue jewel on her forehead. The aforementioned gem changes color based on mood, of which red signifies anger. She almost always wears a light blue strapless sea shell bra. On Sunadokei's waist and arms are numerous gills. In addition she has pink fins decorated the beginning of her tail alongside a set of light blue fins in a belt-like arrangement on her hips. Mostly notable about her appearance though, is her sheer size. Sunadokei immense, even by typical mermaid standards. At thirty feet tall and even longer to her tail, she is closer to a small whale in size and weight.
PERSONALITY
Fun loving and flirtatious, Sunadokei is truly a mermaid in body and mind. She lives for adventure, exploration, and meeting new people. She is gregarious and sociable, never shying away from parties and gatherings. Vain to a fault, Sunadokei has immeasurable pride in her beauty, and is utterly unafraid to both flaunt her figure or use it to advance her goals. Nearly as avaricious as she is vain, Sunadokei is greedy to a fault. She craves wealth, opulence, and comfort in her life. Her aspirations are to become royalty, showering herself in wealth and the comforts that luxury brings. She has some notion of honor among thieves though, and if given the chance prefers stealing from the tyrannical and corrupt.
Sunadokei is also a notable glutton, relative to that of her titanic statue. She is known to eat inordinate amounts of food, and will deplete small herds of cattle or entire schools of fish if allowed to properly gorge herself. A ferocious chocoholic, Sunadokei became enamored with human sweets and confections since they are foreign to those who dwell beneath the waves. She is easily tempted or swayed in her decision making if enticed with sufficient amounts of food. Though being called a glutton, calling her fat, or otherwise alluding to her ravenous appetite is quick to set the mermaid into a vengeful wrath. On the matter of anger, Hell Hath No Fury Like a Woman Scorned. The seas prove no different, and Sunadokei has a great and terrible anger when sufficiently provoked. While she is normally patient and rather temperate in nature, her patience is not without limits. Once invoked her anger is extreme, and she will not hesitate to sink ships and attempt to drown their crews into a watery grave below.
Passionate in her craft, Sunadokei aspires to become a master shipwright. Her goal is rather unorthodox, desiring to create the ultimate land ship, a water filled vessel that can travel across land. Her goal is frequently mocked, but to her it makes perfect sense. Just as a human cannot survive underwater forever, a merfolk cannot survive on land indefinitely, and she seeks to make a reverse-submarine of sorts to achieve this goal. Inquisitive and shrewd, Sunadokei enjoys learning of other cultures and histories, and takes to knowledge like a sponge does to water. That said, she tends to always look at the world through a fish eye lens, and her thought process can come off as abnormal given her merfolk insights into the world.

HISTORY
Sunadokei was born some thirty two odd years ago as the youngest, and now only surviving child of her parents. Her delivery proved fatal to her mother, already weak from a life of hard labor and inhumane living conditions, as well as the heartbreak of several miscarriages due to these hardships. It was the happiest, if not most fleeting moment of her mother's life to see her last child born healthy and strong, already crying and squirming within seconds of being born. Sunadokei's mother had enough time to cradle her infant daughter and weep her last tears before she expired, for once though, these were tears of joy.
Sunadokei's father, grief stricken by the loss of his wife, tried his best to care for his infant daughter. He toiled in the deep sea mines, extracting seastone and corral to eek out a meager existence under the squalor of Merfolk conditions in the West Blue. He swore on his last fin he would give his daughter a better life than he had, and worked himself to the bone to provide for her. But alas, grief, strain, and a need to constantly nurse the bottle sent Sunadokei's father into an early grave. At the young age of ten she watched her father's heart give out in his bed. His last words were sputtering the name of his long deceased wife, saying he'd see her once more. Sunadokei's parents lay buried together in a shallow grave, overlooking a natural shelf where the shallow inland waters give way to the expanse of the open ocean. A 'blue sunrise', as the merfolk call it. She only hopes they found the happiness they deserved in the next life.
Now young, and orphaned, Sunadokei was forced to carry on alone in the world. She, along with so many other children, were rounded up by their near slave driving 'Workforce Encouragement Officers' and hurried into jobs toiling to support the West Blue's stratified economy. Sunadokei spent most of her formative years sewing ship's sails, clothing, and other textiles. She grew rapidly, having a natural disposition towards great stature owing to her parent's strong genes. Her meager food rations were supplemented by lots of hunting and spear fishing during her precious free time. As she grew older, this extended to pilfering foodstuffs from her well off overseers, much to her delight. As time passed, she grew exponentially, much to the concern of her masters.
When she was fourteen, Sunadokei was towering above all but the tallest humans on Marche Island. It put a certain fear in her overseers, worrying one day the now giant mermaid would realize her strength and lead an insurrection. As a preemptive measure had her shackled in great chains, and forced to toil in the depths of the Seastone mines extracted the precious rock for her masters. During this time Sunadokei grew bitter at the world, and the West Blue for what they did to her people. She dreamed of escape, and forging that better life her parents claimed she so rightly deserved. The chance came to her, when wild-men from the now ruined Corral Kingdom attacked Marche Island, liberating most of the slaves and storming the city. Though they were ultimately thrown back by the island's marines, it was not before Sunadokei was freed. She destroyed much of mines in her rampage, freeing the shackles of other prisoners and leading them to escape to the ruins of their ancient home.
Life was better in the ruins of the Corral Capital, at least initially. Sunadokei was free, no longer shackled and worked like a slave. Though freedom came at a price, and the wild-men were just that. Wild. Merfolk society had regressed to almost tribal state, relying purely on hunting and raiding to sustain themselves. There was little desire in the chieftains eyes to do anything beyond continue to attack the 'surface dwellers' and liberate 'fish from ape.' Despite her obvious size and strength, Sunadokei's protests they try to rebuild their ancient city fell on deaf ears. It did not take her long to gather what few possessions she had and head out in search of greener kelp fields. Though she vowed one day to return, and see her ancestral home restored.
Her travels brought her to the Ilusia Kingdom, a wealthy kingdom within the West Blue ruled over by a feudal monarchy. Here the bigotry was less servile than it had been in her home isle. Ilusia was far away from the squalor of the merfolk internment camps, though the natives were by and large no less bigoted. Sunadokei took up residence in a cove offshore, alongside other fishfolk refugees. They lived in relative secrecy and isolation, fishing and farming, avoiding the locals. Their primary deals with outsiders came in the form of the great trade ships from faraway ports. These people were more open minded and accepting, displaying none of the prejudice locals demonstrated towards their kind. It lifted Sunadokei's spirits greatly, and instilled in her more of her lost faith in humanity. Maybe mankind wasn't so bad, though the West Blue should still burn.
One day, now in her late teens, Sunadokei met a man from the Grand Line by the name of Jones Davey. An engineer, shipwright, and former Marine. He claimed to be running a newly founded salvage company, and was always looking for good hands. Between her size and strength, he was eager to have Sunadokei under his employ. He paid all fishfolk under the table, to avoid local scrutiny. Publicly he had a dive team of sailors with diving bell suits, privately mermaids and fishmen did twice the work in half the time for a third the pay. Seeing as this was her first real job beyond hard labor, and the pay was far more than any before, Sunadokei was eager to accept. Jones Davey's company had her and her kin scouring wrecks no other crew would dare touch. Heading to treacherous whirlpools and dangerous shark infested waters where no human would willingly go. While risky, it was less so for those who could not drown, and the promise of beli was too much to ignore.
During one of her first wrecks though, disaster struck. Normally Sunadokei was far too big for the undersea predators to go after. As large as a small whale, most sharks and eels thought twice just looking at her. Though as she and her kin were scouring a shipwreck, an enormous Mighty White Shark emerged from the depths, hungry for a meal. It did not so much as hesitate to go after the mermaids, attacking the shipwreck and driving her smaller kin to flee for their lives. Too big to hide, and without a weapon Sunadokei was forced to improvise. Grabbing the only thing that could hurt the beast within reach, she took the shipwreck's very anchor and chain in hand, battling the vicious shark. Binding its head in chains of steel and hammering away at the beast with crushing blows, Sunadokei slew the terror of the deep in a life or death duel. The mermaids feasted on shark that evening, celebrating her heroism during the day.
Since then, Sunadokei has kept the anchor and its chains, lovingly naming them Undertow and the Dredgelines, and they have since become her favored and most trusted weapons. With thundering blows and binding chains, Sunadokei just as easily drags wrecks from the depths as she does create new ones. There is very little, she finds, that can withstand a direct hit from a two ton anchor to the face. And even less that can dodge it, when shackled in steel chain. These have become as much weapons as tools of her trade, aiding in scouring and salvaging the murky depths.
Months turned to years, and Jones Daveys grew wealthy of his salvaging business. Cheap labor and heavy plunder tends to do that, and the man began to expand his business ventures. He purchased an old shipyard, spending a small fortune to have it refurbished. Soon he was hiring on carpenters by the dozen to serve him as shipwrights. His mermaid salvage crew was eager to join in, and learn a skilled trade to improve their financial standings. Daveys was originally hesitant, not wanting to incur the wrath of local Marines for paying undocumented Fishfolk to work at his company. The mermaids unionized under Sunadokei, threatening to expose not only his dirty secrets but also leaving his business to find work elsewhere. Daveys eventually backed down, increasing their pay and allowing them to work as shipwrights out of fear they'd blackmail him. He did state though, that any bribes he needed to pay to keep the local Marines off his back would be coming out of their pay.
Sunadokei agreed, saying she was happy they could solve this like civilized people, and that she didn't need to smash his shop and set fire to the docks. The merfolk continued working under Daveys, now in a more official capacity. It quickly became an open secret what he was doing, though as bribe money rolled in, and the Mermaids didn't cause any trouble and kept to their underwater homes, the Ilusian government mostly turned a blind eye to the fishfolk on their doorstep. It continued on like this for well over a decade and a half, with hardly an incident. Jones Davey's Salvage & Shipwright grew to be among the most lucrative shipyards on the Ilusian waterfront, churning out galleons and carracks at record speed and of notable quality. It helps having a workforce that has no quarrels working underwater for sure.
And that has largely been Sunadokei's life. She and her fishfolk kin continue to work and ply their trade, having grown bold with over a decade of experience. There is no wreck she won't scavenge, and when the work gets slow, she doesn't shy from creating a few of her own. It's so easy to blame the unfortunate sinkings on krakens and whales after all. Though in her heart she longs for adventure, to see the world and find great wealth and fame. In her deepest desires she yearns to return to the Corral Capital, see the ancient city restored, then cast off the systematic oppression in the West Blue. Sometimes she daydreams about armies of Mermaids united under one banner, setting fire to the islands and dragging whole fleets beneath the ocean's cruel waves. She usually just sighs and looks to the horizon, whispering under her breath... "One day."

NPCS & RELATIONS
Type: INPC Rank: D Name: Jones Daveys Age: 58 Gender: Male Race: Human Faction: Aristocrat Group: Jones Daveys Salvage & Shipwright Position: Founder / Owner Height: 6'8" Weight: 320 lbs Appearance: A tall and broad shouldered man with short trimmed hair and a course, rugged beard. His hair, once dark brown, has begun to grey with age and his face is lined with wrinkles from years spent under the burning sun. He dresses in oil stained overalls with a loose button up shirt, though he still has his old Marine uniform which he dons as formal wear. A scar on his left cheek and a smoke pipe almost permanently in his mouth are his two most distinguishing features. Jones has hard brown eyes and speaks with a gruff demeanor. Personality: No nonsense and business savvy, Jones is a man of words of action. He maintains much of his military diligence from his Marine days, running his company like the crew of a warship with him as its Captain. He is known to quickly anger, breaking into drill sergeant like rants as he berates workers into line. Daveys likes a good smoke, strong booze, and an evening spent swapping war stories over a round of drinks and a game of cards. He whittles wooden ships from blocks of driftwood in his spare time, using an old combat knife. Aspirations: jones is a simple man, seeking a peaceful life and an easy retirement. He wishes to amass as much money as he can before he's too old and grey to keep working, and retire to a nice home in the countryside with a few of the sea. Greedy and shrewd, he would sell his own mother if the deal was good enough. Though not one to swindle, he isn't too proud to stoop to less legal business practices such as bribing officials or generating a few 'unfortunate' shipwrecks during the slow months. He just calls that the cost of doing business. Home Blue & or Island: North Blue Background: Born to humble fishermen, Jones had a normal childhood and joined the Marines when he was old enough, seeking a life of glory and adventure on the high seas. He served several tours of duty across the four Blues, though it was his last tour in the Grand Line that convinced him perhaps it was time to consider early retirement. He was honorably discharged and took his earnings with him as he sailed to the West Blue, seeking new ventures and calmer waters. Relations: Jones Daveys has a positive relation with local Marines, being a former one himself. They look the other way at most of his shady business dealings, and happily accept his bribes when offered. He is also on good relations with the mermaid Sunadokei Bounty: 0 Beli. She is hard working and diligent, making her a quick study. Dedicated and patient, though easily flustered by her own failures. More shy than her mentor, she is also less fearless. Has a habit of curling up into a ball with her long head-tail when scared or sleepy. Aspirations: Wants to be a rich and famous shipwright, or a glamorous pirate. She can never quite decide. The thrill of adventure always at odds with the fear of the unknown. A life of danger or a life of comfort.
GROUP
Name: Jones Davey's Shipwright & Salvage Faction: Mercantile Leader: Jones Davey's Background: Jones Davey's is an ex-Marine turned shipwright, who left the World Government after his tour of duty and headed west seeking an easier life. He started a salvage company in the Ilusia Kingdom, employing local mermaids and fishfolk to scour the depths and search the wrecks that normal dive crews could not. One of the few to employ fishfolk in the bigoted West Blue, Davey sees neither skin or fin, only gold, as he likes to say. He used the money he earned from salvage, and the knowledge he gained as an engineer in the Marines to expand his business into a proper shipyard. Nowadays, in addition to salvaging wrecks sometimes they dredge the ships up wholesale to haul them back to port for repair and refurbishing, or simply to salvage as much of the wreck as they can.

Everything looks good, you wrote a quality application. My major qualms are with Traits.
Titanic Size This doesn't seem like a Skill+ Trait because it's not granting you any special abilites, it's just the result of your size, so switch this to Character Trait, it can still exist as a requirement to your fighting style. i'd prefer if you used joyboy.boards.net/thread/216/vantages Vantages instead of raw percentages. Lvl 1 1 Adv and 9 D. Adv. Lvl 2 3 Adv then 7 D. Adv Lvl 3 5 Adv 5 D. Adv, so on so forth.
Marine Biology Bump moderate wounds to 1 day major to 5 days Severe 3 weeks near fatal/amputations to 2 months these all being real time, i'm sure u kno, but just to be clear.
Fried Fish Give a post-timer that increases the amount of Disadvantages as the time spent in these areas increases.
Other I would tell you to lock 2 traits, but u really did your thing with those negatives, so good job there to balance that out.
You chose 2 idle rate boosts to SP and E&D so primary attributes should be those two unless you aren't taking those as freebies. In that case, lock 2 traits.
You should include Jones Davey as an NPC you're acquainted with. G or I
To start I'll give you 28k Doriki, 15M Beli, 0 Bounty. Position is for a title like Rear Admiral, Lieutenant, Super Nova, etc, so you can blank that out, doesn't really matter one way or another.
